This week passed by very fast. Haha, last friday and this monday took leave and enjoyed a long and fun weekend. Went for 2 gatherings, 1 with Kenny and GAs and the other with my ex-poly classmates. Although spent quite some money, I felt very happy as I can enjoy time with my fav. sgt and my poly friends. I didn't take any photo with my poly friends.

Kenny was searching for his camera to take photo but I was faster, haha..

Kenny's Birthday Celebration

We went to Marina Bay to enjoy steamboat + grill with our birthday boy-to-be (261006), Kenny. Group includes Edison, Jonathan, Jee Hoe, Jerry and Peter. Kenny gave us the treat to the food & drinks. I wanted to pay for the drinks but he insisted that he will treat. Then we went to Parklane to play pool & naruto (PSP) before heading to watch the movie, Death Note.

The movie shows the battle of wits between two university students thru sudden massacre of criminals using the Death Note. Light, the self-proclaimed New World God, picks up a notebook, which says that any person whose name is written on the notebook and thinking of the person's facial features is done shall die, and start a revolution to create a world with no crimes. He ends up killing many innocent. The first would be FBI Agents, Raye and his other partners. L, also known as Ryusuke (Fake name of course) will use his wits to counter Light and bring him to justice. The entire movie ends when Light decides to join the Anti-Kira police team and upon meeting L.

Preparation for my PSP (Play Station Portable)

Today my brother and I went to chuen pin's house to ask him about PSP, how to use, convert music and movies, etc. He helped me burn out CDs with loads of games and softwares. After which we went to Seoul Garden for a Lunch/Dinner BBQ Buffet. We had our fill of meat and soft drinks before returning home.

Here's how my future PSP will look...
Maybe will add a strap, screen protector and a hard-cover casing, haha..

Had IPPT Training today.. Trained for chinups and Standing Broad Jump (SBJ). Ran 2.4 km today but felt very tired. Nearly faint due to dehydration. Plus spectacles spoilt on sunday while i was bathing. I think the specs gave up on me due to corrosion. Supposed to play DOTA (Defence/Defend of the Ancient) but gotta come back home to get my old specs to standby before I can have my new one. Quite tired today, friday still got Bn Life Run... ToT

Since I am publishing my first post out of this blog, I shall describe what I am doing currently and things abt me.

School Life...
Primary: Henderson Primary [1992 - 1997]
Secondary: Gan Eng Seng Seconday [1998 - 2001]
Polytechnic: Ngee Ann Polytechnic [LSCT][Chemical Engineering][2002 - 2005]

Army Life...
DoE: 11/06/2005
ORD: 10/06/2007

Postings...
BMTC School 1 [Falcon][Jun - Sep][2005]
Artillery Institute [Khatib Camp][Sep - Dec][2005]
21SA [Kranji Camp][Dec 2005 - ORD!!][Jun 2007]

I enjoy playing MMORPGs and I am currently playing SRO [Silkroad Online] on Olympus Server. The previous MMORPGs I have played include Ragnarok Online, Elysium, Maple Story, Gunbound, MU Online, etc...

I love basketball game and have been playing since secondary 3. Due to the injury I had in Poly Yr 2, the frequency of my game has dropped. I have been to physiotherapy and there has been slight improvement but my knee still hurts whenever I get into activities such as running, jumping, etc... Hope to recover from the injury to enjoy the game like b4.

A year plus thru my NS life and I got tired of the mundane lifestyle inside. Although I have night's off on Wednesdays, I don't go out with frens. Instead, I would rush back home just to enjoy home-cooked meals. I enjoy great meals from my mom [my house 1st class chef] and due to that, my weight hasn't dropped even though I have to run in camp on Tuesdays and Fridays.

9 mths + to ORD... So near and yet so far... Before I can ORD, I still have to go for overseas exercises in Australia and New Zealand. I get this feeling that I don't wanna go but actually going overseas can improve my relationship with the entire battalion. Maybe it's the great meals from my mum that has been holding me back... Haha..

I would like to go further studies in the university but due to my lousy result, I don't bear much hope. If only I can go back in time to study hard. Now, I can only hope that everything in army goes smoothly and I can have a successful application into the course I want. If not, I will go to work. Perhaps as a technician or an assistant engineer.

If you want the rainbow, you have to put up with the rain.
