Another week passed already, time seems to pass very fast recently. Work's fine, colleagues as well, the critical thing that I am facing right now is my functional manager, will he be so kind enuf to convert me into a perm? Any work is not really impt for me right now, all I want now is to have the security in the position that I am lacking. If I can get this job, I can do rather much, save up a sum, select what I wanna study, and much more.

Actually today wanna go for a swim but since yesterday can't get to bed and today woke up rather restless, I decided to have my swim perhaps on Monday. Just got my Citibank savings account and ATM card. This means my saving project is starting, haha.. I've been thinking, if I start saving early, I would not be that desperate when rainy days arrive or when I wanna get sth nice but I dun have the $$ for it.

With good planning comes good results, I hope.. Being a process engineer isn't as easy as I think it would be, a lot of discipline is involved and time needs to be used on the right stuff. Like doing research studying or even some R&D hands on. Sriram's a good mini boss and he is willing to guide me, unlike my other colleague, he suffered too much of Tai Chi attack so much so that he already submitted his resignation, haiz, one less nice colleague to work around with, makes my work a bit harder whenever I need the help from the QC section. Luckily, I got to know a few of the nice QC staffs and supervisor. Hope everything goes smoothly. ^^

Thinking abt new year's resolution, here's what I think I should be having for the next year:

1) In terms of maturity, I must admit that I have a lot of room for improvements, really gotta buck up on that.
2) $$$, this is very impt also. Since I dun come from a rich family, it's very impt for me to start savings early. Wei Yu Chou Mou mah ^^
3) As for getting a gf, I think I too immature to rush into things like this and thus the effect is...

I think this is what I wanna do for the next year, to get a perm placing in work, savings, and if possible, to start studying early too. Tmr is the last day of the year but not much of the activities being booked to me, I guess I will go for a swim and head home to have family dinner. ^^

Sometimes I feel helpless and lost, afraid to ask anyone to guide me a way out.

I dunno what I can do anymore, if my actions only increases the injuries in people's hearts.

I feel lousy, maybe the loneliness is born in me and will live in me for quite some time.

Missed the transport today cos I was late by 1 min... Took cab to Buona Vista there to chase after the bus. Cost abt $5, felt pretty bad cos the bus waited there for me and was late at each pickup point abt 5 mins time, sorry guys.

Yesterday diarrhea several times till very tired and slept a few hours, today felt so sleepy. Haiz..

Nevertheless, still went for a swim to shed out some sweat, and felt really better after the swim. ^^ Hope can buy the bicycle soon so I can go night cycling on weekends soon, haha..

Tmr gotta follow up on work, time to sleep le.. Nitez. ^^

Merry Christmas my friends! Celebrated with a couple of friends over steamboat and karaoke. It's nice, to enjoy this lovely season with friends.

Directly after work, went to Jasmine's house to have steamboat together with Adeline, Brandon, and Shiqi. The steamboat's nice. Played with Jasmine's two puppies, Dana and Dior, after dinner. After dinner, went to Adeline's place to wait for her to change and we went to Hougang's Kbox for singing session.

Din know Shiqi sings so well ^^, cos it's hard to sing Jacky's songs. Dunno abt myself, today felt restless. Perhaps due to yesterday's intensive bball playing. Thanks for the nice dinner and singing session!

Today went back to ngee ann poly to have a bball game with my poly gang (aaron, keong, daw, yide and john). Overslept in the morning therefore late for the game, paiseh cos I seldom late for meetings. Had a great game with them but found out that my stamina depleted quite a lot, gotta go running soon, if not IPPT confirm fail den will get scheduled to RT. I dun wan that to happen. =(

Had lunch at food market just below NP. It's been quite a while since we last ate there ^^. Went bowling at Chevron, my second time bowling and I am still as lousy, haha.. Kept washing the drain. After the game went to daw's place to play mj. I din play as I still new to the game, hope to learn how to play soon so can have more fun time with frens.

Just when we happily talk about going into Malaysia to attend cousin Will's and his wife, Sigrid's wedding dinner, we suddenly remembered about me and my bro's passport issue. We still have not changed our photographs. So we agreed to go have them changed on Wednesday afternoon since I have half day off after the company treat (buffet lunch at Shangri-La).

At first I tot that the photo changing will take only 1 day, when we reached there, we realized they no longer provide this service and we have to change to new passport. So sian cos the entire process will take abt 3 working days (Thursday Hari Raya Haji and following week Tuesday Christmas not counted). That would be our fault as we din change the photos since May 2005? Haha.. In the end, me and didi left behind while mum and 4th aunt went into Malaysia today.

I wonder what I can do these few days apart from swimming and going out shopping. Today opened savings account to save up money for studies. Hope I can save as much as I can within 1 - 2 years, den can study what I decide to venture in the future.

Since tomorrow is company lunch, so went swimming today to prepare for tmr ^^.

Luckily it din rain today, or else I wun be able to exercise at all this week.

During the swim, saw a lot of people in pajamas at the edge of the pool. Ooh, they are taking their swimming test. I was having the same test 12 years back, haha.. Then, I think I was as nervous as them as I was not as proficient. Today, if I were to take the same test again, it will be a total different thing.

Going to aunt's hse in Malaysia this Thursday to attend my cousin's wedding and celebrate X'mas. Going to eat lots of nice food le. Very long din go aunt's hse for vacation le, wonder how her hse is like now, after the effect of the flood that hit last year.

Gotta turn in early tonight, very tired after the 60-lap swim. Zzzzz....

Din swim yesterday due to heavy rain in the evening, went today instead. After swimming my entire body aching.

Today planned to go out to buy working shoes but mum brought us to Orchard instead. Saw Yi De in Orchard, Aaron said he saw me but I din see him, haha. Din buy anything in the end, just went home with bro earlier. Mum and aunt went to buy lots of clothes (for new year).

Had home cooked western food for dinner, very full now... Okay bah since morning done some exercises. ^^

Happy 23rd Anniversary Mum & Dad! I wanted to give you sth good but I am dried up since I spent too much $$ when I received it. Sorry orh.

Finally paid off the debt!! I feel so relieved now. Now need to work on work performance so can receive a good increment when permanent, haha..

I've been thinking, some of the things I did earlier ain't cool and I regretted my actions. Ya, you are right. Being persistent will just piss people off, gotta think more carefully before anything. Dun wanna regret again.

Tmr's swim day again! ^^ In fact, this is the 3rd time swimming this week, just a be aching. Swimming lets me think about a lot of stuff as you go long distance, I think it will help cool my head a little.

Had a movie with Christ, John and Victor after work. The Heartbreak Kid. Kind of draggy but it's hilarious, but only 21 and above can watch. Really enjoyed the time together with friends, had dinner together at Cineleisure before heading to Borders and back home. Tiring day it's been, night!

I have been thinking about going more on cycling since I have taken interests in it since young, it's time to invest on a good bike and enjoy riding. ^^

During lunchtime, I followed the workers' agent and the tooling contractor out for lunch at Bukit Panjang (I know it's not allowed but I don't care liao, since my manager nvr cares, I just do my best at work and be responsible to do a good job, tt's all.) We had sweet potato porridge, fish, omelette, fish cakes and fried vegetables. The meal was very filling and the dishes are nice, if possible maybe can bring her there for once. ^^ But the place is not very convenient unless you got a car to drive around.

In the evening I had a great time over dinner and singing @ the Karaoke Bar with Richard, Christoph & Johndaniel. We had dim sum, stingray, chilli sotong, bak kut teh and sugar cane drinks. Halfway at the Karaoke, Jackson came by to join us but he did not take beer as he have to send his worker to work night shift, he sang a few hokkien songs and we were amazed by his nice vocal. Richard has the best and powerful vocal among us all, I heard from him that last time he entered singing competition before and won prizes. He is more of an English song singing. The 4 of us drank 6 jugs of beer altogether, haha..

After work yesterday, I went home to shower before heading down to City Hall to meet Adeline, Jasmine and Rayner for dinner. We went to Sakae Sushi to have dinner, was my first time there and I was like mountain tortoise, haha.

Had quite a lot of nice food, dunno the names as all in nihongou. Actually was amazed by some of the equipments in Sakae but din say out later they say me sua gu, haha. It's nice since I haven met Rayner since God knows when. Had a good chat with him, heard most of us in 21 who went Uni now are struggling with study and exam load. Work hard guys!

They wanted to watch movie but only got 2 movies and so they not interested (actually i wanna watch hero, but no luck cant get to watch it). So we went to KBox, haha Rayner so excited. After dat den I know why.

Sang till quite late and went back, reach home and shower already 3.30 am. Den went to bed haven sleep soundly mummy woke me up le.

Today hard to pass by cos keep getting sleepy, luckily my supervisor at pipe plant welcomes me there to learn programming from his foreman, Ang. Ang is oso quite a nice guy and he taught me a little abt programming to change length, cutting position, etc.

Today quite happy cos got praised for job well done too. I will continue to work hard so that I can be recognized, good for my future job too.

Really had a great time yesterday, apart from being sleepy. Hope to have more great times in the future. ^^

After taking the curry noodles, I can't seem to fall asleep, maybe because I was too full. So I surfed the internet till around 5 but in between the time went to the toilet a few times due to stomachache. The reason I slept at 5 is also b'cos dad came out of his room and I had to lay on the bed if not he will make a lot of noise abt it, then everyone will wake up. Woke up at 6 again to the toilet and slept till abt 9 when mummy woke me up for breakfast.

After taking some milk and shower, we went to cousin Irene's baby, Cherie's full month celebration. The baby's function lasted till 1 pm and I accompanied my mummy and aunt for a while before looking for my buddy, Keong, at woodlands. Treated mummy and aunt to Swenson's, had coffee and banana split. Can see they were very happy. ^^

Spent time with them till 2.45 pm before gng to look for Keong, just nice he haven eat so I bought him something and chat with him while he plays FFF (Fly For Fun, MMORPG) till 5 pm, den went to IMM to see if I can find something special. Found a nice item and will work on it tonight, hope to finish by today. After having the filling curry chicken, I began working on it but was not able to finish it today. I will continue to work on it tmr. Nitez.

Yesterday accompanied Christoph to the bank to open his savings account and to Bugis to sign up for broadband at M1's. The entire event took us till 9 pm plus and we were tired and extremely hungry as I usually had a very early lunch, just before noon. After everything, we went to the food market near my hse and ordered hor fun, yee mian and sting ray for our starving stomaches (Christ's first time taking these).

Wah, today find it more difficult to wake up, woke up around 5.50 am. After a quick shower, I quickly went out to the pickup point so that I wouldn't miss the bus. The morning ride became my nap time as I knocked out pretty quickly after it went on.

Too sleepy to talk abt work le, today's work was like okay in the morning and busier in the afternoon as Sriram wanted me to work on some drawings, coordinating part, etc...

On the bus back, got to know a female colleague who's very matured in thinking (Adeline too! ^^) and thinks for her bf's well being, and a lot of other stuffs. I think her bf is quite blessed with her.

Went to Bugis for a haircut before meeting up with Adeline, Brandon and Shiqi at Douby Ghaut for dinner. We had dinner over at Cafe' Cartel and it was quite full, due to the sauce that was in my Carbonara (The two girls had grilled chicken with fish and Brandon had ribs). Then we went to watch Enchanted the Movie, it was a good movie (such that it's Adeline's second time watching it, her first was with a cute little girl, Meredith). The background music and the graphic effects were great, would love to buy the OST CD when it's out. The movie has a creative sense of both laughter and touching scenes that you don't see often. It's a mix of different Disney's fairytale stories with quite a lot of humor as well as touching scenes complemented by great background musics. It would be entertaining to watch the movie in dvd version again when it's out.

After the movie, we took the lift to level 1 and I met Peter (NS pal and basketball fren during 21SA days) just outside the life, he's with a couple of frens too. Perhaps they are going for the midnight shows. I din realized him when I walked past den he tapped me on my shoulder, haha. Not observant enuf, gotta work on it more.

We went to Starbucks and ordered some drinks while we chatted. They got me a Java Chip (the name sounds nice and when shiqi asked wat I wanna have, I said I wanna try dat, very creamy on the surface and perhaps too sweet chocolate taste for me) and Tiramisu, kinda surprised and nice to eat but cheese cake's a bit too fatty for me, haha. Looks like I will have to swim more laps on Saturday noon. Time passed by pretty soon when u are with a couple of nice frens. Walked with them to the bus stop before taking a cab home (since NR7 is not dat convenient for me).
















Nice Tiramisu with a touch of alcohol that indulges you. Heard from Shan that TCC has even better ones. ^^ Hope to try them too.

Today office stuff very boring, so I will just cut short. After work, I took a different bus to Marsiling MRT to Keong's hse at Admiralty. Reached at abt 6 plus but we agreed to meet at abt 7.30 pm so I just chit chat with keong before going to meet the others at causeway point. Keong's sis forgot her keys so we suppose to wait for her. Den 7 plus we went to the MRT to pass her the key and went to look for Aaron, who was already at comics connection.

Den we went to look for the "glow in the dark" sprinkle dust for keong and a shirt for aaron. Then, we went to basement 1 to buy the 881 dvd and met yi de. We just walked around till champs arrive. At first we wanted to eat at sakae sushi but there are a lot of ppl plus champs already had sushi for lunch so we went to pizza hut but too crowded. So I suggest crystal jade cos not much ppl there, haha.

We ordered a 6-person set meal for 5 of us, includes water chestnut with rib soup, bbq meat, steamed fish, sweet & sour pork, , "gong bao" chicken, "mai pian" prawn and lotus seed in red bean paste dessert. The dinner was great and we chatted a long while over dinner and after dinner while enjoying chinese tea and dessert. Yide going to join champs in Exxon Mobil next week (congrats), keong working in PSA as trainee supervisor and Aaron's a regular specialist in the army. All earning more than me sia, haha. They talked abt savings plan, how they select savings and investments plans, etc. As I listen to them, I am thinking that I do need to save up more since if I do want to go further studies, I need the financial ability since I do not want to rely on my family and burden them. Guess I will have to spend less every month and save at least 500 dollars per mth, if not really hard to have the amt to study. I think I will start my savings plan next month. So, bye bye to extravagant spending!! On the way home, I thought abt how I am going to save up and still be able to give mummy allowance but I will have much less to use, just hope it can work right.

Still haven buy a shoe for casual wear, haiz. Good night! ^^

Welcome to Jason's Daily Blog,

Today still the same, lay on bed till mummy wakes me up. I very lousy at waking up early for work, one of these days confirm late for transport (hopefully still not yet). Today went out of house a bit late, but luckily I arrived at the pickup point earlier than the bus. Took a little nap on the bus (these few days to work always take nap on the transport). Reached the workplace at around 0715 and went for coffee, today Richard bought coffee for me while I enjoy the bread mum prepared. Nice having breakfast with him every morning. He is like a mentor to me, teaching me what to do in the working society, etc. Haha, after breakfast run toilet le. Dunno why also, every morning, no matter rain or shine, I will have stomachache when I wake up early.

The morning was busy but I was able to complete my work at around 1 - 2 pm, then I realized I don't have much to do le so I read up some notes in the server. Reading was so tiring and I kept going to the toilet to wash up so I can stay awake. But in the end really cannot tahan le (wanted to have coffee at the food center but din dare to go) so I went to the pipe plant to see if Richard needs any help. I went at the right moment as Richard was compiling his data and he needed help with Excel before submitting to the MD. So I lent him my "shen qi excel hand", haha.. I am happy he appreciated my help.

On the bus back, I thought of visiting Adeline at work and since mum's not cooking, I asked her what's her dinner time, hopefully we can have dinner together, so I just tried out my luck. I guessed she was busy as she din answer my call, so I just walked to A&E, since remember last time she said she was working there but I think she was posted out. Just hope she's close by the A&E Building. I walked into the building and I was blurred by the many signs and ways to walk around, so I called shan again to ask how to find her but she din answer (so sorry I know you must be very busy I still go disturb you). Luckily she called and we met up at the corridor outside Clinic K and found out that she too haven got her dinner. She was supposed to meet her fren, Rammy, for dinner but she was too busy and missed it. She said it happens all the while and it's a pity she and Rammy cannot have dinner together, I think they will have quite a lot to chat about if they were to have dinner together. Since Rammy din eat with her, we had dinner together.

We walked to a small but cozy canteen to have dinner (I like the light ambience, din think a hospital have such a nice and cozy place for food. I prefer this canteen over the larger food court where we past by). She went to order noodles and I went to ask her what drinks she would like to have. She said fruit juice and I just walk off, then I remembered I dunno what juice she wants (LOL). After asking, got 2 glasses of watermelon for only $1.60. She had wanton mee while I had mee pok, the taste is okay but it's a bit too dry. Had a nice chat over dinner also (when she mentioned plastic surgery, I remembered she mentioned it before but even if I know, I also dunno where's the place ^^, sometimes I have bad memory.) , got to know that she got to go for clinical attachment at the selected hospital for a total of 12 months during the 24-month programme, if I am not wrong.

I guess I will sleep early tonight as tmr will be meeting my buddies for dinner at causeway point. Hope they will be on time.

Today went back to office to complete what I have left on Friday and finished them before 9 am. So I went online to search for information that will aid my work. Din have much time to do other stuff since my mini boss want me out in the plant to assist him for measurements on the equipments. That alone took a couple of my work time.

After lunch, my mini boss gave me another assignment to do, to calculate a lot of BOM timings. I think got 100+ for epoxy resin alone, wasn't able to finish even when knock off. Made quite a lot of mistake here and there, think I tomorrow have to recheck everything. Sorry boss you may have to wait quite a while before I finish.

When we took bus back, I had a nice chat with Christoph and when we alight, we went for dinner together. We had fried kang kong and sweet & sour pork with rice. The food's okay but it's the people you are eating with makes the food taste even better, like the very first time I had Yoshinoya. The taste was just like yesterday's (But the dipping sauce for the chicken was weird, din like it.). After which, accompanied Christ to buy some items (postage bag, went to the bank to ask about account opening, etc) before going back home.

Before I go to bed, let me fill you in about what I have done today. Although yesterday I had a chill out with Adeline, Brandon, Jasmine and Shiqi at Changi Village's Terminal, and I slept at around 4, I woke up today before 9 am and went down to get breakfast for didi, cos he wanted duck noodles and it would be sold out around 10.30 am so I have to go down early.

While queuing for the duck noodles, I met my previous S2, CPT Eugene Lim (He was the nice officer who recommended me for "Best Soldier of the Month" award in camp for my effort put in at work.), at the market. I heard from him that he just moved to Redhill (GREAT!!). He will be having a open house and looks like I am "cordially" invited, haha.. Self-proclaimed cordially invited.

Side-track a bit ah, he was very nice to me when I was back at 21SA, Kranji Camp. He's a very knowledgeable officer and I respected him quite a lot. Even though he went to S2 branch, I still believe that he is one of us in S3 branch as my idea is, Once from S3 Branch, Forever in S3 Branch. Same goes for Weixiong, my friend; bunkmate and jogging buddy in camp. Weixiong was in S3 branch for only a day and he was butter-traded for Sgt Edison due to his proficient knowledge in Accounts. Sgt Edison became our range specialist and Weixiong was our S4 "Runner", who assists S4 in the overall accounts and purchasing of a lot of items requested by the unit, mostly us (LOL). How I miss them, hope to see them soon for a gathering in Dec, as the guys in 21SA now (my understudies and officers friends) will be more available then.

After breakfast, I surfed net for a while, studied the information I found over the net for my work before doing house chores since mummy went for work today (Damn the bad chef, who keep pressing my mum to work on Sundays, grrr. The chef dunno got what grudge with so many ppl that she keep shouting orders at ppl to make them work so hard. As for her, after cooking the dishes, she can "da yao da bai" and order ppl around. Feel sorry for mummy having to work in this kind of environment.)

I started by washing all the fans, followed by vacuum and mop floor, and ironing my clothes, since I know how to do, might as well do it, so mummy will be less taxing. Then went to NTUC to get vegetables for salad for dinner. I always use the Coleslaw sauce for the salad as it's not as fattening as Thousand Island and have a nice light taste.

The ingredients for the salad:

1 x Whole Lettuce (Sliced)
1 x Cucumber (Diced)
3 x Tomatoes (Diced)
1/2 x Carrot (Finely Sliced)
3 x Eggs (Hard Boiled Eggs, Sliced with the Egg Slicing Tool)
5 x Potatoes (Diced, you may steam it to cook as it's faster this way. Boiling will be slow.)
1 x Coleslaw Sauce
2 x Chicken Thigh Meat (Boiled and Diced)

Servings: A lot of ppl (But today only the 4 of us eat the whole salad, LOL)

You may put whichever you like more, I suppose it will not change the taste much.

I like to put potatoes as I love them a lot, haha. Baked ones or Boiled ones alike. ^^

The day before Christoph called me and asked if I am going swimming on Saturday and I replied to him yes and we arranged to meet at Tiong Bahru Plaza to go together since he doesn't know the way. We planned to meet at 9 but I end up waiting around 40 mins. Then we went for swimming.

Saturday's pool is a little crowded, but still okay, so we started swimming. We did 40 laps on a 20-lap break to chit chat. The weather is fine and the sun is just nice when we started and end. After around 1hr of swimming, we went for lunch at the market near my house. I treated him to the best chicken rice at our market and he says it's good, glad to hear that. After which, he went back for his project presentation work. As for me, I went home.

After some chatting on msn, I got invited to meet them for their dinner at tampines. We (Adeline, Jasmine, Shiqi, Brandon and me) went to a grill restaurant, sound something like Phil's Grill Restaurant, at Tampines Mall. I had their Traditional Fish & Chips while Adeline had Seafood Platter if I am not wrong. But she was very hungry in the first place and ordered garlic bread. I would say the service is not that good.

After dinner, we went to the pub at Changi Village and ordered Whisky with Soda and Heineken. I don't like the taste of whisky, it's not nice and beer is not for me after all. I think I will try cocktail (Long Island Tea, recommended by Christ ^^) next time. It's a good eating out. Hope to meet you guys soon.

The power God has is from the tears wept by us. Why do you cry, it's because God gives you happiness and snatched it from you when you enjoy it the most, making you with tears, so that he may be forever as powerful. So, if possible, don't cry, stay strong!

Today went to Vivocity with mummy to get some clothes, been there quite a lot but still not familiar with the place. I think my sense of direction quite bad. Firstly, we went to Marks & Spencer to get a Polo Tee and some digestive biscuits. Then, we went to OP to buy a shirt each. Mum quite happy as I bought her a shirt.

After some walking, I wanted to head back but it's still early, so we walked to find my handphone strap but couldn't find any nice ones. Then I head into Crocodile but end up spending quite a lot on 2 nice clothes. I would say it's well-spent as the quality of the clothes are very good (100% cotton). Spent $200++ on clothes, as today is payday, I paid for all but it's okay since it's a "Need" item more than a "Want" item. ^^ Good Night!

In the morning, first thing I stepped in office immediately went to settle all the errors on the BOMs and sent to costing side to do their entries and calculations. At least try not to drag them down, if not dunno what my manager will say to me.

Then did some process observation and self-reading before getting work from mini boss, so much work to do until I went out for a while to get some fresh air and tea. After work, at first my intention was to go swimming but I remember I forgot my goggles and also mummy not cooking, so stopped at Plaza to pack dinner back.

I had black pepper whopper for dinner while bro had fried chicken from KFC. The burger was nice but I think it's those limited time promotion thing. Just now had a call from ming guang, he's doing well at HSBC as a banking loan agent. From what he said, the sales department he had worked in Ameron had tonnes of work to do and need to do lots of overtime that he couldn't take the stress that he quit. Now, Missy's taken over his post. I think she also quite stress, seldom see her after 5pm to take any bus, should be working overtime. ^^ Hope tmr will be a better day, hope can finish my work faster too. Haha, nitez!

In the morning, I had to do my calculations computations and view it with reference product drawings. Then, the BOM need to send to costing side and also send for approval. Today also attended the safety induction course.

Afternoon, joined my mini boss to oversee the process. Quite tiring as I was looking at the winding process and the machine like hinting me to fall asleep. Then suddenly close my eyes for a moment and also trip and fall. Tonight sleep early so tomorrow will be a better day.

Tomorrow need to amend the BOM since on the bus the costing side say should not be done that way, I din mean to do wrongly, just that my mini boss din say it's supposed to be that way. I'm not blaming him but if he want to teach me, at least it's better if I can learn to do it right the first time. Good experience gained, I don't wish to commit them again. Sleep loh..

Due to yesterday long swim, I couldn't get up on time and left the house a bit late. Luckily just when I reach the bus pickup point, the bus just arrived. I din miss the bus afterall. ^^

My mini boss, Sriram, taught me how to compute the required materials for the specific product using a computation spreadsheet and the Bill of Materials (BOM) while referencing at the product drawings. After learning, I began doing the BOMs as my big boss say I should do them so as to get some experience. In the future, I will be handling all the BOMs as well as my process part perhaps in around 3 - 4 weeks time. I think Sriram will teach me more about programming in these few days. The work here is rather okay and Sriram is quite easy going and willing to teach me. I hope I can stay here for perhaps 2 or 3 years and start studying for degree after I become permanent.

First thing in mind is the financial ability, second is studies, then comes in career. Hopefully everything comes in smoothly. ^^

I think I have a bit more click with the production guys and they are willing to tell me about the process part and the implementations done, good and bad, so that in the future I may be able to implement the process programs or the equipments. Today, he hinted more about quitting. I think his other side confirm already and he submitted his resignation. He's okay, apart of keeping to hint us about him not going to work soon. Too obvious already, I wonder why some of them still don't get his point or they just know and play along or they just hack care? Haha.. I think too much, getting too serious is my weakness. Shan reminded about that, that why should I care about that? I just do my job right and that's it. Hmmm, wonder are there any programs on Friday. Sigh..

Come to think about it, I have not really accomplished anything, apart from getting myself some accessories and essentials from my salary.

I used to think, in my secondary school days, that one day, when I grow up, I can do whatever I want, buy whatever I desire but all these come down with the need of money if you think about them carefully. Nowadays, I would think at least twice before I buy anything expensive for myself. One of the reasons would be my lack of interest in studies in the past, resulting to having a diploma as my qualifications.

As for the future, nobody knows. Eventually, I have to plan carefully for my savings and studies, and even for my family. For now, I will stick to work experience and get some savings before I want to branch off to other stuffs.

Went for swimming again, I like to swim a lot so today swam a little bit more, 50 laps. I hope I can beat this record soon. For now, I think I will swim about 2 - 3 times a week so if you think you want to join me or beat my record, do not hesitate, ^^ msg me today for an appointment. Haha..

In the past, I couldn’t even look after myself. Time passed and I feel that I have grown up day by day and I understood some things, and to be more sensible. Now, I feel I want to care for a special someone, and in return that she will be happy. Just let me know when you need a listening ear. I will do my best to help. ^^

I like being near you, and when you need help, I want to be there too. This is how I feel now, I am a conservative guy and this is wat I can say without having empty promises.

Since on Friday I slept at about 3am, I woke up late on Saturday at about 11 am. The alarm did rang for a couple of times but I kept sending it to snooze. Haha, it's been quite some time since I last swam so I sling on my bag and walked towards Delta Swimming Complex (Don't have to pack since I intended to swim on Friday evening but got invited to have dinner with Adeline and Maybelle instead). Since so long never swim, I decided to make my trip more worthwhile by swimming more. I hopped into the pool after some warm-up and started swimming. I kept telling to myself, Jason, you still have a long way to go, don't give up so easily. Before I stop, I already swam 40 laps. Wow, didn't think I could swim so long. I rested at the corner of the pool, panting a lot due to lack of frequent exercises (I should have exercised more). At about 1 pm, went for shower and off to Tiong Bahru Market to pack lunch for me and Di Di. At late afternoon I went to Sim Lim Square to buy 3.5" hard disk casing but when I got back, I realized I bought the hard disk casing for Sata instead for IDE slot. Dumb me...

On Sunday, woke up a bit earlier than Saturday but felt the ache from swimming yesterday. Agreed to meet Champs and Aaron for lunch @ Marina Square, so I left house at about 11 am. Reached at 1130 and went to Times to wait for them. At about 12 noon, Aaron came but Champs called and said he had stomach upset and will be late, so we went for some window shopping. Saw some nice clothes but due to this month's budget, I think I will probably get some next month, when I am not tight with shopping for clothes. We had lunch at Waraku Pasta, I had scallop and squid pasta while they had carbonara pasta. Mine's with oil sauce while theirs is with carbonara sauce is that what you call? After lunch, we went to shop for a while before Champs went to look for his gf and Aaron went back. I too also went back. My off passed so fast, tmr will be work work again. I hope to learn more stuff from my lead engineer so that I could perform.

HR Induction early in the morning, Ms. Florence spoke in more details about the company's vision, missions, values, and not forgetting the timing for bonus payout. Haha.. Not going into detail of what she mentioned, cos' it took us about 1 hr plus before the induction ends.

After the induction, I went back to my desk and took a look at the computer, sian... Might as well go into the plant and observe how the operators work and how the equipments operate. But it was a wrong timing as the supervisor was also there, he went to one of the ovens to check the temperature and the time chart and... He caught hold of something amiss, the details don't tally. So the operator, about my age only, kena reprimanded. He was asked to explain but he said he dunno. The foreman say sth about warning letter but in the end I think they din issue, gave him one more chance. I went back to generate a chart for them so they can read if they don't remember. Sometimes, there are so many types of products that they would forget the most basic stuff. Cannot blame them also but discipline must also be in place so they do not "luan luan lai".

After lunch, I took the sample products for some sand blasting and hydrostatic tests. Stand at the QC area also very sleepy. =( Everyday also sleepy la, sleep early or late also the same. Partly b'cos the lead engineer nvr specify my scope clearly yet. I think he wants me to be proficient in my knowledge skills before he gives me any projects/tasks. Haiz, just observe the process and see what he wants me to implement lor.

After work took transport back, after shower and a bit of rest den went to meet shan and her fren (Maybelle) at marina sq for dinner. Nice dinner at CA but the baby rib dun look small and eating it is very much of a hassle. Chose the wrong dish, haha.. The restaurant also so cold.. Din bring enough cash and the restaurant dun accept nets, grrr, so paid a part of the bill only. Wanted to catch a movie after meal but all slots full so din manage to watch at marina. We tried at shaw towers but they dun have the movie we wan, I think is Beowulf. So we went to "chill out" but TCC was full house so we went elsewhere but in the end Adeline brought us back to shaw towers to Starbucks. We had a nice chat and coffee. At first I tot her fren is her senior in poly but later I got to know that they are of same age, oops.. Maybelle is a very easy-going person too. ^^ Sometimes they were chatting abt their childhood times and school times I also dunno how to fit myself in, haha.. ^^ Just listen to them chat also quite nice, got some interesting things that I also cannot control myself not to laugh. It's a nice "chill out". Thanks.

Since I din touch this blog for quite long, I reckon I should give an update.

Currently, I am working for this new company, Ameron, as a process engineer, and I have been working for 2 weeks, coming to the 3rd week already. Ameron is a fiberglass-reinforced resin pipes and fittings company and have a long history for the manufacturing of fiberglass products. Basically it's a contractor and supplier company, as it also supplies building materials as well as making wind towers.

Previously, I have been working for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for a period of 4 mths as production technician. Then, it seems like no life as I need to work on weekends as well as public holidays. I basically do not have much time to get together with my poly buddies.

Keong once told me that it's good to keep a diary for personal reference, and since I am lazy to use the pen and book, e-dairy seems a better alternative. In the future, I will be writing more in this blog, so stay tuned.

This few days in Ameron basically is the learning phase, I have been reading up quite some stuffs and got to understand the process better. The place where I am working is rather quiet, whereby there is less communication than my previous job. Perhaps their workload is rather heavy as compared with mine now, since I am still under induction and probation phase. I do hope to get clearer about my job scope so that I know where I can or cannot perform. My colleague, a degree holder and also a process engineer, is hinting us that he wants to leave. He keep hinting to me, something like to pass all his workload to me and such, but I think it's just his way of saying goodbye. I don't blame him, for his workload is of 2 people. I can't stop myself for feeling troubled, so I had a little stroll around my house but nothing beats saying out how I really feel.

Sometimes I get sleepy due to long exposure to the computer monitor, and I would leave the office and walk to the fittings plant to observe the operations. I just hope everything goes smoothly and I will be able to get permanent status to my job.

Just remembered my blogspot id and password. Decided to add one post just before I go to bed.

Thru my NS days, I have been thru some hard training and even more lonely times, therefore I have thought about a lot of stuffs. I think I do know what I basically want, but some of the things dun come as you wish. Just as I very much wanted to go to the university, mum and dad wun be able to support me and even if they do, I dun wan them to spend too much of their money on me. Maybe in years to come, I would have saved up some money and then, perhaps if I can still go to school, haha, I would choose a course that I like plus it's one that can earn lots of money. That way, my family can live in a better condition than present.

Woke up around 5 plus today, due to daddy coming into my room getting some stuff. Oso b'cos I can't sleep anymore, slept early the day before. So lay on the bed and daydream for awhile before getting breakfast. Received msgs from a nice fren dat we will be meeting for dinner tonight. ^^ Read some comics and listening to jay's newest song, 我不配. It's a nice and relaxing song, and I wun get bored hearing over and over again. Haha..

Den had lunch with aunt. I had you mian while she had ban mian (she always likes to eat this ban mian cos it's very nice, just dat I wan a change of taste, haha). Den I went to buy clock and lunch for didi. My bro went into his study and saw the clock den he say: "kor, you buy clock for me ar?" I tink he quite happy loh cos I got listen to wat he say.

Den i went to read comics but after some time I slept again, fell aslp till around 5.45pm I woke up. Den took a look at the com before going out to meet my new friend, Adeline. ^^

We reached around the same time (saw her at the station there) den we went to search for b'dae gift for mummy, walked around for some time (cos I dunno where to go to buy) so she brought me around and we end in tangs. She helped me choose a nice wallet with many nice compartments and I paid for it very quickly. Kinda fast cos I like to buy once I taken liking upon stuffs.

Den we went to Paragon to buy some biscuits (nice biscuits, cos bro ate and say it's very nice) and after that, we went for dinner. We had dinner at Yoshinoya Restaurant, the food there very filling dat i couldn't finish. She's very polite and gentle and we chatted for quite some time. After dat, we went to have coffee @ TCC (opp. John Little). She had tea while I ordered german blend (nice coffee with good aroma). We had quite a long chat i think, cos i lost track of time. We chatted till abt 1050 den went home. It's been a great day.

On Thursday night (or rather Friday morning ^^), I went to bed after 1am. The weather was not very good, so humid and I cannot sleep. As for my fav. aunt who came for her holiday, she can't sleep as well, really bad weather. So we chatted abt lots of stuffs, mostly abt me and my future, haha.. Den at around 3am plus, didi came in and we force ourselves to sleep.

Before I can even go into dreamland, mum pulled me up. It's already 5am plus. I quickly wash up and went for work. As for Friday, I had 2 induction courses and time to check the plant and take a look at the various processes. I dragged myself around and cannot stand sitting at my office desk cos if I sit there, I would doze off immediately. So I stayed at the plant till 10plus before going for induction at 11am. The induction is mostly abt manufacturing and the department responsible for the production issues and stuffs. Mr. Goh introduced us to the individual products (mostly I got to know already, due to self-reading and walking around the plant with the technicians thinking I am the inspector) and the annual income and etc. This took around an hour and before we know it, it's already lunch time.

I had fishball noodles but did not finish the noodles (afraid become even fatter) and went back. This time, some time after lunch, I changed into my overall and went to inspect the plant for my mini assignment. I went ahead to interact with the production side and stayed in the plant for quite some time. When I entered the office (ground floor), it's already flooded and Weng Wei's and Chun Yong's area was very wet, so we mopped the area and drained the water. After that, I changed back to my clothes and went for the 4pm induction. After the "dry" lecture, I went back to "waste" time before going back. Wanted to sleep on the bus but met up with a field service senior. He got lots of working experience and talked to me abt work and stuffs. Den I went home straight.

Upon reaching home, I collapsed on my bed. Such a tiring day reminds me to sleep earlier or else I will suffer the same consequences the next time.

Today we had a great singing session and chat. We all working already so not much time to gather. Today was great, except in the beginning when I need to wait for Mr. Daw for a couple of hours. We had lunch b4 "K". Daw mentioned abt chicken rice but we (actually me) din hear him. Sorry man my fault I only heard it after we ordered our food. Then we went for our karaoke session. Dawcious now very good at singing le, aaron better at rapping and champs is still our wang li hong and ah xin. Keong is very easy-going and sings any songs if u ask him too sing with you. Haha.. I had a great time with them but I hope all of us including john, yide and heen mun could join us. Maybe next time lorx, haha.. Cheers to my buddies!
